How to correctly select PCBA processing technology for processing circuit board

Now there are more and more electronic devices, and many things are developing in the direction of intelligence, which requires more circuit boards to undertake the control systems of these devices. Here’s how to choose PCBA processing technology for circuit board processing.

How to correctly select PCBA processing technology for processing circuit board
1. single-sided SMT mounting
Add solder paste to the assembly pad. After the solder paste printing of PCB bare board is completed, the related electronic components are attached by reflow soldering, and then reflow soldering is carried out.
2. Single-sided DIP insertion
PCB boards that need plug-ins are subjected to wave soldering after the production line workers insert the electronic components, and then cut the feet and wash the boards after welding and fixing, but the wave soldering production efficiency is low.
3. Single-sided mixing
PCB is printed with solder paste, electronic components are attached and then fixed by reflow soldering. After quality inspection, DIP is inserted, and then wave soldering or manual soldering is carried out. If there are few through-hole components, manual soldering is recommended.
4. Single-sided mounting and plug-in mixing
Some PCB boards are double panels, with one side attached and the other side inserted. The process flow of mounting and inserting is the same as that of single-sided processing, but PCB reflow soldering and wave soldering need a jig.
5. Double-sided SMT mounting
In order to ensure the aesthetics and functionality of PCB, some PCB design engineers will adopt the method of double-sided pasting. In which IC components are arranged on the A side and chip components are attached on the B side. Make full use of PCB board space to realize PCB board area minimization.
6. Double-sided mixed packing
Two-sided mixing is performed in the following two ways:
The first method of PCBA processing and assembling is heated for three times, which has low efficiency, and it is not recommended to use the red glue process because of its low qualified rate of wave soldering.
The second method is suitable for the situation that there are many double-sided SMD components and few THT components, so manual welding is recommended. If there are many THT components, wave soldering is recommended.
The above is how to choose PCBA processing technology for circuit board processing. The introduction of how to choose the correct PCBA processing technology, I hope it can help everyone.
