Schematic design steps of PCB design and processing

The design of schematic diagram is the basis of circuit design. Only on the basis of designing schematic diagram can the circuit simulation of printed circuit board be carried out. The following briefly introduces the design steps of circuit schematic drawing by new scholars of Protel DXP2004SP2.

It contains the following nine specific design steps: (1) New construction projects and schematic diagram files. Create a new PCB project, in which all the documents in PCB design are included. (2) Set the drawing size and working environment. Set the size of the drawing according to the complexity of the actual circuit. In the whole process of circuit design, the size of the drawing can be adjusted constantly. (3) Load the catalog. All the components in the schematic diagram come from the catalog, so the catalog should be loaded before placing the components. (4) Place components. Select the components from the component library, arrange them in the appropriate positions of the drawings, define and set the names and packages of the components, and adjust and modify them according to the positions of the connecting components on the working plane, so that the schematic diagram is beautiful and easy to understand. (Note: When drawing in DXP, there are often some components that cannot be found in the standard component library. At this time, you need to edit your own components by hand. (5) Schematic wiring. According to the needs of the actual circuit, various tools and instructions provided by SCH are used for wiring, and the devices on the working plane are connected by wires and symbols with electrical significance to form a complete circuit schematic diagram. (6) Electrical inspection of schematic diagram. After wiring the schematic diagram, you need to set the project options to compile the current project, and use the violation information inspection report provided by Protel DXP to modify the schematic diagram. (7) Adjustment and modification. If the schematic diagram has passed the electrical inspection, the network table can be generated and the schematic diagram design can be completed. For general circuit design, especially for larger projects, it is usually necessary to modify the circuit several times before it can pass the electrical inspection. (8) Generate a network table file. After completing the above steps, you can see a complete circuit schematic diagram, but to complete the circuit board design, you still need to generate a network table file. Network table is an important link between circuit PCB diagram and circuit schematic diagram. (9) Print and output schematic diagram. Users print it out for archiving. This is the management process of designing graphic file output, and the process of setting printing parameters and printing output.
