At the same time, the adjustment support of the bias voltage of the chip substrate is added to better balance the contradiction between performance and power consumption, and broaden the application range of the chip; In addition, the forward compatibility of chip package pins is maintained; LoongISA, an independent Loongson instruction system, is supported by Loongson 3A2000. On the basis of more than 500 instructions in MIPS64 architecture, nearly 1400 new instructions are added in four aspects: basic instructions, virtual machine instructions, binary translation instructions for X86 and ARM, and vector instructions.

Based on the pin compatibility of Godson 3A2000/3B2000, the Godson 3A1000 chip greatly improves the system performance, the measured comprehensive computing performance is increased by 1-2 times, the measured memory access performance is increased by 10-20 times, and the measured IO performance is increased by 3-5 times. At the same time, it also provides targeted optimization support for virtual machines and binary translation.
Loongson 3B2000 supports up to four multi-path consistent interconnects with fully associative structures based on Loongson 3A2000.
The frequency of the Loongson 3A/3B processor reaches 1.5GHz Considering that it is the product of 28nm process, this achievement is good. However, compared with mainstream processors of AMD and Intel, the Loongson 3A/3B still has a long way to go in terms of frequency and performance, although the Loongson team previously claimed that the Loongson 2A/2B2000 has reached the level of IntelIVB and AMDSteamroller in terms of microarchitecture design.
